I find reliability as you state it to be very underresearched. When was the last time u saw an old muscle car still going on a rebuilt motor? I mean if you don’t understand the workings of a car, obviously the smaller the engine the more “reliable” it seems, but that is all that can be said about it. No other automaker but Volvo can make engines that last 200k miles then get rebuilt and last another 200k. Think about that.
I like the Reinvention commercial. They show a $40,000 volt that no one can afford. A Buick that is built by Opel. A Cadillac that an oil change costs over 50 bucks for. Try to fit your family into a Camaro. Some things never change.
a toyota or honda hybrid that gets less mpg cost at least 35k. opel is a gm company in europe. a good oil change with any internal oil filter car cost at least $45, and a camaro is not made as a family car. try to be fair next time
good job UAW, you killed your own companies.
Erm, I think other companies have passed volvo already buddy. Toyota and Honda cars, if taken care of properly, can last 300k and above pretty easily. And they have been doing it for almost 20 years. And Im not sure if you have ever worked on a volvo or atleast seen one. But they are garbage to work on and they look like crap. IMO
I agree bwiskey!
GM: new douschebag with new suit
you uneducated fool

New stats — 79% of Americans disagree with the GM bailout!
GM sucks. Everybody’s known it for 30 years..
GM = General Morons
UAW = U Aren’t Working
Someones diaper is full…WAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!
FUK GM! HONDA FTMFW…
As long as the unions run GM it will be failure.
Weird considering everyone buys gm vehicles…hmmm..
New plan? To make a car someone might want to purchase? Bwaahahahahahahahahahaha
hmmm so ‘everyone’ buys a GM product, yet GM went under and all of the other car makers are still afloat, weird indeed…
Yes. They do. It has nothing to do with the amount of vehicles they sell. Think of all the chevys, pontiacs, caddys, Buicks, hummers, Gmc’s, etc..you see on the road. More than any other company in the world. The problem is they don’t have a huge margin on the price and the stupid unions.
I just bought one!!!
honda sucks!!!!!
Gold medal for Todon8181!!!
GM te apoyo…
let’s hope this big lie will come to the end…soon…let’s hope gm will cease to be….forever….
GM = General Mess. How can you can get the job done when your dealership service centers rip off the GM customers? I got butt raped this week due to a faulty transcooler line that was inspected on Aug 24th, 2010 and then my head gasket blew due to this issue on Oct 15th, the dealership lied about the repair work done and even charged me $160.00 for damages they caused in the process of removing a heater hose. My car, 2005 Pontiac GTO with less than 43K miles. How can you respect yourself GM?
